Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) has entered into a strategic academic partnership with the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 16, 2025. The agreement was signed at SVGU&rsquo;s campus and marks a significant milestone in strengthening international collaboration in higher education.
The MoU sets the foundation for a broad range of initiatives aimed at enhancing academic excellence and innovation. These include student and faculty exchange programs, joint research ventures, curriculum co-development, and the sharing of institutional expertise. The collaboration also supports the framework of the bilateral agreement between India and Australia, which promotes mutual recognition of education systems and academic standards.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Mayur Shah, Registrar of SVGU, and Dr. Nimay Kalyani, Campus Director of UOW, GIFT City, Gandhinagar. The signing ceremony was graced by Hon&rsquo;ble Provost Dr. Kiran K. Shah, along with senior academic leaders including Dr. Abhinava S. Singh (Director, MBA), Dr. Hardik Soni (Director, MCA), Dr. Dharmesh Bhavsar (Director, BCA), Dr. Vishal Dahiya (Director, IMCA), Dr. Priyanka Shah (I/C Director, BBA), Prof. Shroff (Director, Professional Courses), Dr. Kiran Trivedi (Associate Professor, Computing, UOW India Campus), and Ms. Kalyani Brahmbhatt (Admin Officer, UOW India).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mayur Shah remarked, &ldquo;This MoU will significantly strengthen our efforts in promoting student and faculty exchange, as well as knowledge sharing between the two institutions.&rdquo;
