Government of India will conduct &ldquo;21st Livestock Census&rdquo; across the country from September to December 2024 to collect livestock data.</div>

<div><strong>How will livestock be counted?</strong></div>

<div>For livestock census, the enumerators will go door-to-door and fill the details of village, house, animal and its owner besides the land, equipment available with the owner from mobile. Apart from this, the information of stray animals including cows, dogs of villages and cities will also be collected.</div>

<div>The enumerator will send the collected information to his supervisor. The supervisor (veterinary officer) will send the collected information to the district nodal officer through mobile app after authorizing it.</div>

<div>Government of India will provide web application and dashboard to District Nodal Officer and State Nodal Officer. By means of which the nodal officer will be able to monitor the accuracy of the calculation made by the enumerator and the accuracy made by the supervisor.</div>

<div>The collected data will be sent to the Government of India through a web application. Apart from this, the state nodal officer will be able to monitor all the district nodal officers through the dashboard. After validating the data collected from each state, the Government of India will release the Livestock Census data.</div>

<p>पशुपालन और डेयरी क्षेत्र के विकास की योजनाओं के सुचारू कार्यान्वयन के लिए पशुधन का अद्यतन डेटा संग्रह आवश्यक है। भारत सरकार पशुधन डेटा एकत्र करने के लिए सितंबर से दिसंबर 2024 तक देश भर में "21वीं पशुधन जनगणना" आयोजित करेगी।</p>
<p><strong>घुमंतू मवेशियों को पहली बार जनगणना में शामिल किया गया</strong></p>

<p>जनगणना में सभी घरेलू पशुओं को शामिल किया गया है। 21वीं पशुधन जनगणना में खानाबदोश चरवाहों के मवेशी, आवारा मवेशी, कुत्ते, पिंजरे, गौशाला, सरकारी फार्म और डेयरी फार्म भी शामिल हैं।</p>
<p>जिसमें देशभर की लगभग 219 पशु प्रजातियों की गणना की जाएगी। देश के एक लाख से ज्यादा अधिकारी-कर्मचारी जनगणना करेंगे.</p>
<p><strong>गुजरात में 28 पशु प्रजातियों की गिनती की जाएगी</strong></p>
<p>राज्य में 28 पशु प्रजातियों की गणना की जाएगी। गाय वंश में गिर, कांकेरगे, दगरी, डांगी और नारी वंश, भैंस वंश में मेहसानी, जाफराबादी, बन्नी और सुरती वंश शामिल हैं।</p>
<p>राज्य में पशुधन डेटा के संग्रह में ग्रामीण स्तर पर 2,700 से अधिक गणनाकार और शहरी स्तर पर 1,000 से अधिक गणनाकार, साथ ही 670 पर्यवेक्षक शामिल होंगे। जनगणना आंकड़ों को अधिकृत करने के लिए जिला स्तर और राज्य स्तर पर नोडल अधिकारी नियुक्त किए गए हैं।</p>
<p><strong>पहली बार जनगणना के लिए मोबाइल ऐप का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा</strong></p>
<p>21वीं पशुधन गणना के लिए देश में पहली बार मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन और सॉफ्टवेयर का उपयोग किया जाएगा। इस एप्लिकेशन का परीक्षण करने के लिए भारत सरकार ने गुजरात सहित अरुणाचल प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, ओडिशा और उत्तर प्रदेश में एक पायलट प्रोजेक्ट शुरू किया है।</p>
<p>जिसके तहत जामनगर जिले के जोडिया और कलावड तालुका में मोबाइल ऐप और सॉफ्टवेयर का परीक्षण किया गया है। 20वीं पशुधन गणना के दौरान पहली बार पशुधन डेटा टैबलेट के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन एकत्र किया गया था।</p>
<p><strong>पशुओं की गिनती कैसे होगी ?</strong></p>
<p>पशुधन गणना के लिए प्रगणक घर-घर जाकर मोबाइल से गांव, घर, पशु और उसके मालिक के अलावा मालिक के पास उपलब्ध जमीन, उपकरण का विवरण भरेंगे। इसके अलावा गांवों और शहरों की गाय, कुत्ते समेत आवारा जानवरों की जानकारी भी जुटाई जाएगी.</p>
<p>प्रगणक एकत्रित जानकारी अपने पर्यवेक्षक को भेजेगा। एकत्रित जानकारी को पर्यवेक्षक (पशु चिकित्सा अधिकारी) मोबाइल एप के माध्यम से जिला नोडल अधिकारी को अधिकृत कर भेजेगा।</p>
<p>भारत सरकार जिला नोडल अधिकारी और राज्य नोडल अधिकारी को वेब एप्लिकेशन और डैशबोर्ड की सुविधा प्रदान करेगी। जिसके माध्यम से नोडल अधिकारी प्रगणक द्वारा की गई गणना की सटीकता एवं पर्यवेक्षक द्वारा की गई गणना की सटीकता की निगरानी कर सकेंगे।</p>
<p>एकत्रित डेटा एक वेब एप्लिकेशन के माध्यम से भारत सरकार को भेजा जाएगा। इसके अलावा राज्य नोडल अधिकारी डैशबोर्ड के माध्यम से सभी जिला नोडल अधिकारियों की निगरानी कर सकेंगे. प्रत्येक राज्य से एकत्र किए गए डेटा को मान्य करने के बाद, भारत सरकार पशुधन जनगणना डेटा जारी करेगी।</p>
<p><strong>वर्ष 2019 में गुजरात में 268 लाख पशुधन पंजीकृत किये गये थे</strong></p>
<p>20वीं पशुधन जनगणना वर्ष 2019 में आयोजित की गई थी। जिसमें गुजरात में 268 लाख से अधिक पशुधन पंजीकृत थे। 2019 की जनगणना में 96 लाख से अधिक गायों का पंजीकरण किया गया था।</p>
<p>जिसमें 17.50 लाख से अधिक गिर गायें, 17.70 लाख से अधिक कांकरेज गायें, 63 हजार डांगी गायें, 33.80 लाख क्रॉस ब्रीड गायें और 26.50 लाख गायें पंजीकृत की गईं। जबकि 105 लाख से ज्यादा भैंसों का रजिस्ट्रेशन किया गया था.</p>
<p>जिसमें 39.50 लाख से अधिक मेहसानी भैंस, 14.70 लाख से अधिक जाफराबादी भैंस, 11.40 लाख से अधिक सुरती भैंस, 7.70 लाख से अधिक बन्नी भैंस और 31.80 लाख से अधिक अन्य भैंसों का पंजीकरण किया गया। इसके अलावा राज्य में 17.80 लाख से अधिक भेड़ें और 48.60 लाख से अधिक बकरियां पंजीकृत की गईं।</p>
