A shocking case of violence against a woman has surfaced in Rajkot after CCTV footage captured her being brutally assaulted inside an office near Sheetal Park in The Spire-2 building. The video shows a man repeatedly attacking the woman during a dispute related to their joint business venture.
The accused has been identified as Maulik Nadpara, who allegedly beat his business partner inside their office. Both had recently started a packaging products business, and the woman reportedly took a loan of ₹60 lakh to fund the venture. According to preliminary details, tensions escalated when Maulik allegedly failed to take responsibility for business operations. During an argument, he repeatedly assaulted her.
The incident took place in June 2025, but the matter came to light only after the woman filed a formal complaint at Rajkot&rsquo;s University Police Station on December 9. Police have begun investigating the circumstances that led to the assault, along with financial disputes between the two partners.
The emergence of the CCTV footage has sparked widespread outrage, with calls for strict action under relevant sections of the law. Authorities are examining the video to establish the sequence of events and verify the woman's claims regarding financial investments and business disagreements.
