In a remarkable show of community strength and business acumen, members of the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) have pulled off one of India&rsquo;s biggest luxury car deals,&nbsp; purchasing 186 premium vehicles worth a staggering ₹149.54 crore in a single initiative. The buyers, many from Ahmedabad, secured an impressive ₹21.22 crore in collective discounts through JITO&rsquo;s bulk buying drive.
&ldquo;Community buying gives us power to bargain harder. Brands benefit from assured volumes and lower marketing costs, while members get savings,&rdquo; said Himanshu Shah, vice-chairman of JITO Apex. The initiative, which saw JITO partner with top automobile brands including Audi, BMW, and Mercedes, demonstrates how strategic collective purchases can deliver massive financial leverage.
Riding on this success, JITO has launched a dedicated vertical for community-based purchases across multiple sectors, from electronics and medicines to jewellery, aiming to turn collective consumer power into a model of empowerment.
Inspired by this model, the Bharwad Yuva Sangathan Gujarat recently executed its own large-scale purchase, 121 JCB machines with a total discount of ₹4 crore. &ldquo;Our campaign helps the youth start their own ventures, those without strong credit scores got JCBs at zero down payment,&rdquo; said its president, Dilip Bharwad. From luxury cars to livelihood machines, Gujarat&rsquo;s communities are proving that unity in commerce truly drives prosperity.
