In a fresh round of bureaucratic changes, the Gujarat government has named senior IAS officer Kaul Sanjay Moolchand as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GIFT City Company Ltd., based in Gandhinagar.&nbsp;
The 2001-batch officer will assume the role on deputation for a tenure of three years or until further instructions, whichever comes first, from the day he takes charge.
The same notification from the General Administration Department detailed additional shifts in the state&rsquo;s IAS cadre. K.S. Vasava, a 2013-batch officer from the State Civil Services (Gujarat), has been moved from his current position as Chief Executive Officer of the Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA).&nbsp;
He will now serve as the District Development Officer in Dangs-Ahwa. This change relieves Patil Anand Ashok, IAS, of the interim responsibility he had been holding for the DDO post.
Moreover, an earlier order dated June 17, 2025, concerning Suthar Raj Rameshchandra of the 2019 IAS batch, has been annulled. He had previously been appointed as DDO of Narmada-Rajpipla.&nbsp;
Instead, his services are now placed under the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, where he will take over as the new CEO of SUDA in Surat, succeeding K.S. Vasava.
