<div>Tribal Development Minister Kuber Dindor said that more than 28 thousand smart classrooms have been constructed in government schools in tribal areas under the Gyankunj project. More than 12 lakh students have been benefited under the pre-matric scholarship scheme and around 2.5 lakh students under the post-matric scholarship.</div>

<div>As many as 8035 primary schools, 1064 secondary schools and 509 higher education schools are functioning in the tribal area. Apart from this, 661 ashram schools, 75 ideal residential schools and 71 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas are also functioning. 45 colleges, 175 government hostels and 920 grant-in-aid hostels have been started in tribal areas including 11 science, 11 commerce and 23 arts.</div>

<div>900 under the school uniform uniform assistance scheme to tribal students studying in class 1 to 8. Every year approximately 13 lakh students are benefited by the School Uniform Assistance Scheme.</div>

<div>Apart from this, bicycle assistance is given to more than 35 thousand girl students every year under Vidya Sadhana Yojana with the aim of encouraging girls to pursue education.</div>

<div><strong>102 schools functioning under Gujarat State Tribal Education Society:</strong></div>

<div>Gujarat State Tribal Education Society (GSTES) is an autonomous society established under the Tribal Development Department. Currently four types of schools are being run under this society.</div>

<div>These include 44 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), 43 Girls Literacy Residential Schools (GLRS), 12 Model Schools and 2 Sainik Schools. GSTES operates a total of 101 schools and provides quality education to around 35 thousand tribal students.</div>

<div><strong>Medical colleges functioning in five districts:</strong></div>

<div>Medical colleges are functioning in Valsad and Dahod districts to provide the students of tribal areas with the opportunity of medical education at home. Each college has 200 medical seats available for students.</div>

<div>Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted five districts of Gujarat with new government medical colleges.Medical colleges have also been started in tribal districts like Navsari, Narmada and Panchmahal.100 seats are available in each medical college.</div>

<div>Govind Guru University in Panchmahal district and Birsa Munda Tribal University in Narmada district have been established. 20 Samaras Hostels have been constructed in Ahmedabad, Anand, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, Rajkot, Vadodara, Himmatnagar, Jamnagar, Patan and Surat for the convenience of tribal students in higher urban education centers. 30 percent seats in Samaras Hostel are reserved for tribal students.</div>

<div>Pre-matric and post-matric scholarships are provided by the state government to tribal students. 136.93 crore under the Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme to 12,84,404 tribal students in the year 2023-24, while 718.44 crore has been paid to 2,49,518 tribal students under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme.</div>

<div>The state government also provides loan facility for higher studies to tribal students who want to study abroad. 641.50 lakhs loan has been given to 48 Scheduled Tribe students for higher studies abroad in the year 2023-24.</div>

<p>गुजरात के सरकारी प्राथमिक विद्यालयों में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों को स्मार्ट शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए ज्ञानकुंज प्रोजेक्ट-स्मार्ट इंटरएक्टिव बोर्ड योजना के तहत आदिवासी क्षेत्रों के 7408 सरकारी प्राथमिक विद्यालयों में 28,012 स्मार्ट कक्षाएं शुरू की गई हैं।</p>
<p>आदिवासी क्षेत्रों में शिक्षा का दायरा बढ़ाने के लिए राज्य में 8035 प्राथमिक विद्यालय, 1064 माध्यमिक विद्यालय और 509 उच्च शिक्षा विद्यालय कार्यरत हैं।</p>
<p>आदिवासी विकास मंत्री कुबेर डिंडोर ने कहा कि ज्ञानकुंज परियोजना के तहत आदिवासी क्षेत्रों के सरकारी स्कूलों में 28 हजार से अधिक स्मार्ट क्लासरूम का निर्माण किया गया है. प्री-मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति योजना के तहत 12 लाख से अधिक छात्र और पोस्ट-मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति के तहत लगभग 2.5 लाख छात्र लाभान्वित हुए हैं।</p>
<p>आदिवासी क्षेत्र में 8035 प्राथमिक विद्यालय, 1064 माध्यमिक विद्यालय और 509 उच्च शिक्षा विद्यालय कार्यरत हैं। इसके अलावा 661 आश्रम विद्यालय, 75 आदर्श आवासीय विद्यालय और 71 कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालय भी कार्यरत हैं। आदिवासी क्षेत्रों में 11 विज्ञान, 11 वाणिज्य और 23 कला सहित 45 महाविद्यालय, 175 शासकीय छात्रावास और 920 अनुदान प्राप्त छात्रावास प्रारंभ किये गये हैं।</p>
<p>कक्षा 1 से 8 तक पढ़ने वाले आदिवासी विद्यार्थियों को स्कूल वर्दी सहायता योजना के तहत 900 रु. विद्यालय पोशाक सहायता योजना से हर वर्ष लगभग 13 लाख विद्यार्थी लाभान्वित होते हैं।</p>
<p>इसके अलावा लड़कियों को शिक्षा के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से विद्या साधना योजना के तहत हर साल 35 हजार से अधिक छात्राओं को साइकिल सहायता दी जाती है।</p>
<p><strong>गुजरात राज्य जनजातीय शिक्षा सोसायटी के तहत 102 स्कूल कार्यरत हैं:</strong></p>
<p>गुजरात राज्य जनजातीय शिक्षा सोसायटी (जीएसटीईएस) जनजातीय विकास विभाग के तहत स्थापित एक स्वायत्त समाज है। वर्तमान में इस सोसायटी के अंतर्गत चार प्रकार के विद्यालय संचालित किये जा रहे हैं।</p>
<p>इनमें 44 एकलव्य मॉडल आवासीय विद्यालय (ईएमआरएस), 43 बालिका साक्षरता आवासीय विद्यालय (जीएलआरएस), 12 मॉडल स्कूल और 2 सैनिक स्कूल शामिल हैं। जीएसटीईएस कुल 101 स्कूल संचालित करता है और लगभग 35 हजार आदिवासी छात्रों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करता है।</p>
<p><strong>पांच जिलों में चल रहे मेडिकल कॉलेज:</strong></p>
<p>आदिवासी क्षेत्रों के छात्रों को घर पर चिकित्सा शिक्षा का अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए वलसाड और दाहोद जिलों में मेडिकल कॉलेज कार्यरत हैं। प्रत्येक कॉलेज में छात्रों के लिए 200 मेडिकल सीटें उपलब्ध हैं।</p>
<p>प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुजरात के पांच जिलों को नए सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेजों की सौगात दी है.नवसारी, नर्मदा और पंचमहल जैसे आदिवासी जिलों में भी मेडिकल कॉलेज शुरू किए गए हैं।प्रत्येक मेडिकल कॉलेज में 100 सीटें उपलब्ध हैं।</p>
<p>पंचमहल जिले में गोविंद गुरु विश्वविद्यालय और नर्मदा जिले में बिरसा मुंडा जनजातीय विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना की गई है। उच्च शहरी शिक्षा केंद्रों में आदिवासी छात्रों की सुविधा के लिए अहमदाबाद, आनंद, भावनगर, भुज, राजकोट, वडोदरा, हिम्मतनगर, जामनगर, पाटन और सूरत में 20 समरस छात्रावासों का निर्माण किया गया है। समरस छात्रावास में 30 प्रतिशत सीटें आदिवासी छात्रों के लिए आरक्षित हैं।</p>
<p>राज्य सरकार द्वारा आदिवासी छात्रों को प्री-मैट्रिक और पोस्ट-मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान की जाती है। वर्ष 2023-24 में 12,84,404 आदिवासी विद्यार्थियों को प्री-मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति योजना के तहत 136.93 करोड़, जबकि पोस्ट-मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति योजना के तहत 2,49,518 आदिवासी विद्यार्थियों को 718.44 करोड़ का भुगतान किया गया है।</p>
<p>राज्य सरकार उन आदिवासी छात्रों को उच्च अध्ययन के लिए ऋण सुविधा भी प्रदान करती है जो विदेश में पढ़ना चाहते हैं। वर्ष 2023-24 में 48 अनुसूचित जनजाति के विद्यार्थियों को विदेश में उच्च अध्ययन हेतु 641.50 लाख रूपये का ऋण दिया गया है।</p>
