A series of tragic accidents in Ahmedabad city have highlighted the lack of adherence to traffic laws and need for crackdown by traffic police. Three people lost their lives in as many accidents in the city on Thursday.&nbsp;
An elderly couple, Kantibhai Patel (62) and Dakshaben Patel (60), were killed when a speeding truck collided with their two-wheeler near Panjarapol on Vastral Ring Road. The couple had been returning home from a temple visit on Thursday morning. The truck driver fled the scene, and police have launched a manhunt for the driver.
Hours later, an 8-year-old boy, Arun Prajapati, was injured in an accident near Adalaj toll plaza while returning home from school. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Another tragic accident occurred on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana Highway, where the passenger of an autorickshaw was killed after it collided with an ST bus. The impact of the crash was so severe that it severed the body, resulting in fatal injuries. &nbsp;&nbsp;
