In an attempt to earn money and meet their favourite K-pop group BTS, three minor girls from Maharashtra allegedly staged their kidnapping, police said on Monday.
The girls aged 11 and 13 years, all hailed from Dharashiv district in the state. They had planned to go to&nbsp;Pune&nbsp;to earn the money they would need to travel to South Korea and meet BTS members, an official from Omerga police station said.
Police swung into action after receiving word that the girls had been kidnapped in a school van from Omerga. After the ransom call was made, police found that the number belonged to a woman, who was travelling in a state transport bus going from Omerga to Pune.
They tracked the bus, while it was passing through Mohol area in Solapur district. 
The Omerga police contacted their peers in Mohol as well as a woman who runs a shop at the Mohol bus stand. 
The three girls were secured from the bus with the woman&rsquo;s help and brought to a local police station.
A team of Omerga police along with the minors&rsquo; parents later reached there to collect them. 
When the police asked the girls about the incident, they admitted to staging the kidnapping. They had planned to go to Pune, work there and earn the they &nbsp;needed to go to South Korea and BTS members, said an official.
