The spectacle, spotted around 1:20 am, sparked a flood of social media posts with many calling it a meteor shower, while others suggested it could be space debris.
A comment on X, citing predictions and video footage, claimed the lights were most likely fragments of a Chinese CZ-3B rocket body reentering Earth&rsquo;s atmosphere. The slow speed and visible fragmentation, it argued, matched reentry patterns more than meteors. Some experts described it as a bolide, but consensus leaned toward space debris.
