Popular South Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda met with a highway accident on Monday evening on the Hyderabad-Bangalore stretch. His car was hit from behind by a speeding Bolero near Undavalli in Jogulamba Gadwal district, causing a head injury. The actor has since returned home and is reported to be in stable condition.
The Bolero driver fled the scene, and local authorities are currently searching for the person responsible. Vijay&rsquo;s driver promptly informed the police after the incident.
Earlier, on October 5, Vijay had visited Puttaparthi with his family to seek blessings at the Mahasamadhi of Shri Sathya Sai Baba. On the way back to Hyderabad, the accident occurred. Despite the collision, Vijay&rsquo;s injuries are minor, and he has resumed normal activities.
Vijay Deverakonda, who appeared in the film Kingdom released this July, remains in the news not only for his cinematic work but also for his rumoured engagement to actress Rashmika Mandanna, with reports suggesting a possible wedding next year.
