US rapper Travis Scott made his much-anticipated India debut with the CIRCUS MAXIMUS concert on Saturday, October 18, at Delhi&rsquo;s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Although the event was officially marked as sold out, social media painted a contrasting picture, with fans sharing videos of empty seats, a low-energy crowd, and hours-long delays.
Many attendees voiced disappointment over poor crowd engagement, long waiting times, and lack of basic amenities such as water in several sections. Some described the vibe as &ldquo;flat,&rdquo; claiming the audience knew only a handful of Travis&rsquo;s songs. Others attributed the underwhelming turnout to mismanagement, poor scheduling, and ticket scalping.
However, not all feedback was negative. Clips from the standing Gold and Silver zones revealed a more vibrant crowd, with fans forming mosh pits and vibing enthusiastically to hits like FE!N.
The concert had a massive security deployment of over 3,400 personnel, including 1,600 private guards and around 1,800 Delhi Police officers. Despite the mixed responses, Travis Scott is now gearing up for his next performance in Mumbai on November 19.
