Aanand L Rai&rsquo;s romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, continues its impressive run at the global box office. Released on November 28, the film opened to strong numbers and has managed to hold its ground well into its second week, even as Ranveer Singh&rsquo;s Dhurandhar draws massive crowds.
As of day 13, the film has crossed a worldwide total of ₹152 crore. The domestic box office has also shown solid performance, with the film earning over ₹107 crore in India alone. By early afternoon on day 14, the film had added another ₹35 lakh. Its highest single-day haul remains ₹19 crore, recorded on its first Sunday.
The arrival of Dhurandhar a week later did affect collections, given the spy thriller&rsquo;s explosive box office response. With strong word of mouth and big-scale action, Dhurandhar has surpassed ₹270 crore globally, becoming a tough competitor.
Despite this, Tere Ishk Mein has retained steady footfalls. The film traces the emotional journey of Shankar and Mukti, whose love story begins in their college days. After Mukti leaves him and her father mocks his background, Shankar dedicates himself to changing his fate. Their unexpected reunion years later forms the core of the narrative. The film also features Prakash Raj, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub and Vineet Kumar Singh in pivotal roles.
