Beloved Japanese character Shin Chan is all set for an Indian adventure in director Masakazu Hashimoto&rsquo;s next film. 
The project will also give Hashimoto the chance to experience India personally during its development&mdash;a long-time wish of his since being introduced to Indian cinema through Muthu: The Dancing Maharaja, which gained popularity in Japan.
Hashimoto, who has directed several Shin Chan films, noted that the character has evolved significantly over the years. 
Due to Japan&rsquo;s content regulations, Shin Chan is now portrayed as a more responsible figure, ensuring his mischief remains entertaining but not harmful if children imitate it.
India has warmly welcomed international animated films, though local animation has faced challenges in finding consistent success, with exceptions like Mahavtar Narsimha.&nbsp;
Hashimoto believes the global appeal of Japanese anime lies in its intent and quality&mdash;studios create content with worldwide audiences in mind while maintaining high production standards.
With Shin Chan&rsquo;s next story unfolding against an Indian backdrop, fans can look forward to a cultural twist as the mischievous hero continues his global journey.
