Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, who celebrated his 60th birthday on Sunday, expressed heartfelt gratitude to fellow actors, friends, and public figures for their warm wishes.
Responding to Anupam Kher&rsquo;s video message, SRK reminisced about their past collaborations and hinted at a possible reunion on-screen. The actor also playfully teased Akshay Kumar, asking him to teach the art of waking up early like a true &ldquo;Khiladi.&rdquo;
To Shashi Tharoor&rsquo;s witty comparison of him to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Shah Rukh humorously replied that he would soon be playing the &ldquo;child star&rdquo; and might even copy Tharoor&rsquo;s hairstyle.
SRK also responded warmly to Kajol&rsquo;s advice of skipping candles, writing that he took her suggestion seriously. He thanked Mohanlal for attending an award function and promised to catch up soon.
Replying to Shatrughan Sinha, the actor said he could write &ldquo;paragraphs of praise&rdquo; but would stay &ldquo;khamosh&rdquo; as the veteran might tease him otherwise. To Kamal Haasan&rsquo;s message calling him &ldquo;the King who never needed a crown,&rdquo; Shah Rukh expressed admiration, saying he has learned much from the cinema legend.
On the work front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in King, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. The film, releasing in 2026, stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and others.
