Mohit Suri&rsquo;s Saiyaara has created history by topping Netflix&rsquo;s global non-English film charts in its opening week. 
The romantic drama, featuring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, garnered 3.7 million views and 9.3 million watch hours, surpassing German erotic thriller Fall For Me and Manoj Bajpayee&rsquo;s Inspector Zende. 
Vijay Deverakonda&rsquo;s Kingdom also entered the rankings at No. 9.
Released on Netflix last Friday, the film shot to the No. 1 position within just five days &mdash; a milestone no recent Indian release has achieved. 
To celebrate, Netflix India shared a video message from the lead actors, who thanked fans for turning Saiyaara into a worldwide success.
The story follows a singer-songwriter whose romance is tested by the onset of early Alzheimer&rsquo;s disease. 
Already a box-office sensation with ₹577 crore in global earnings, Saiyaara stands as the second-highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 and the most successful romantic film of all time.&nbsp;
Its streaming victory has further solidified its status as a cultural landmark while propelling its young stars into instant fame.
