A star-studded collaboration is on the cards as actors Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol and Sreeleela gear up to share the screen for an upcoming high-octane advertisement for Ching&rsquo;s Desi Chinese. What&rsquo;s making headlines is not just the cast but the jaw-dropping budget behind the project, reportedly a whopping ₹150 crore &mdash; making it one of the most expensive ad campaigns ever produced in India.
Adding to the hype, the campaign will be helmed by blockbuster director Atlee, best known for directing the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan. The shoot promises scale and spectacle usually reserved for major feature films.
Industry insiders reveal that the ₹150 crore production cost surpasses several Bollywood movies, including Chhaava (₹130 crore), Raid 2 (₹120 crore), Stree 2 (₹60 crore) and Saiyaara (₹45 crore).
Ranveer, a long-time face of the brand, has earlier featured in memorable campaigns for the instant noodles label, including a short film directed by Rohit Shetty and another ad alongside Tamannaah Bhatia. This new campaign, however, takes the branding game to an entirely new level.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Ranveer is gearing up for the release of his action-packed entertainer Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. The film, featuring an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal, is set to release on December 5. He was last seen in Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff.
The much-awaited ad campaign is expected to drop soon, and with such a massive scale, fans and industry watchers are already calling it a game-changer in the advertising world.
