The series delves into the emotional depth, moral dilemmas, and layered conflicts that define the epic. It presents the war of Kurukshetra through the eyes of 18 key warriors, highlighting their personal struggles, vendettas, and the tragic costs of a battle that divides families.
Created by Anu Sikka, the show is produced under Tipping Point with Alok Jain, Anu Sikka, and Ajit Andhare as producers. Directed and written by Ujaan Ganguly, the series also features contributions from legendary poet and lyricist Gulzar.
The production is structured in two parts, each with nine episodes, promising a balance of timeless wisdom and modern narrative style. With its immersive visuals and powerful background score, Kurukshetra aims to make the Mahabharata resonate with both Indian and global audiences.
