Known for his amazing work in many films throughout his long and successful career, Nana Patekar is regarded as one of the finest entertainers of all time. He has been part of well known films like Krantiveer, Tirangaa, Welcome, Parinda etc. Many films out of these have become cult classics among the audience since its release. Many of the scenes from these films are etched into the minds of people to this day. However, only recently Nana Patekar himself revealed that most of the scenes which the audiences watch are real and quite dangerous too.&nbsp;
The actor recently spoke about his film Parinda (1989), in the climax scene he was part of a severe accident and withstood multiple injuries. The accident involved him getting burned severely which led to him being unable to function and move for an entire year which led to severe blisters on his skin, facial hair and even the eyelids.
&nbsp;In the film Parinda, where Nana Patekar was originally supposed to play the role played by Jackie Shroff ended up playing Anna. He said back in those days technology had not evolved so much so digital fires were not a thing. So, obviously Vidhu Vinod Chopra decided to start an actual fire on the set which accidentally led to Nana getting burnt and was left bedridden for months at a stretch.&nbsp;
He spoke about a similar incident in another film, Meera Nair&rsquo;s Salaam Bombay, where again in the climax scene of the film, he was brutally but unintentionally stabbed once. Noone in the set actually realized that he had been mistakenly stabbed and all they thought was &ldquo;Kya acting ki hai.&rdquo; (What an acting). He went on to say that these things are quite common on sets. Nana Patekar looked back on these incidents, and said in many cases he does not even remember what he said and how he said it. He claims that there were many scenes which he did in the heat of the moment, and if he is asked to say the dialogues now like he did then, he will not be able to.
