Dominic Arun&rsquo;s superhero fantasy Lokah: Chapter 1&mdash;Chandra has set a new milestone at the box office, emerging as the highest-grossing Malayalam film with global collections surpassing ₹271 crore within just a month of release. 
Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen, the film premiered on August 28 and has maintained a strong run in theatres.
Amid buzz about an early OTT release, producer Dulquer Salmaan confirmed that the movie will not be available on streaming platforms anytime soon. 
Traditionally, many South Indian films arrive on digital platforms within four weeks of release, leading to speculation that Lokah would debut on Netflix by late September. 
However, Dulquer dismissed these claims, urging fans to await official announcements. 
His production banner, Wayfarer Films, also reinforced the update by sharing a fresh list of theatres screening the film across Kerala.
The movie serves as the first chapter in a planned five-part superhero universe. 
Kalyani Priyadarshan portrays Chandra, a yakshi or vampire, while the sequel will introduce Tovino Thomas as Chathan, a goblin. 
Dulquer himself is expected to take on the role of Charlie, an odiyan or shapeshifter, in upcoming instalments.&nbsp;
Veteran actor Mammootty contributed his voice to Moothon, a powerful leader, in the first part, though his future involvement in the franchise remains uncertain.
