South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun has found himself in hot water following allegations about his alleged relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron. The claims were made in a recent video by a YouTube channel called Garosero Research Institute. 
It featured Kim Sae-ron&rsquo;s aunt, who accused the Queen of Tears star of being in a six-year relationship with her niece, starting when she was just 15.
She further alleged that Kim Soo Hyun distanced himself from the actress after her DUI case in 2022 and claimed that his agency, Gold Medalist, played a role in her financial struggles&mdash;suggesting this contributed to her tragic passing last month.
Strong Denial
Responding to the allegations, Gold Medalist released a firm statement rejecting the claims as &ldquo;baseless and malicious.&rdquo;
&ldquo;The claims made by Garosero Research Institute regarding Kim Soo Hyun are completely false. They alleged that our company and Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late Kim Sae-ron, that Kim Soo Hyun had been dating her since she was 15, and that our agency&rsquo;s response to her drunk driving accident was unfair,&rdquo; the statement read.
The agency condemned the spread of misinformation and announced that it is considering legal action against the YouTube channel for defamation.

While expressing grief over Kim Sae-ron&rsquo;s untimely demise, Gold Medalist emphasized that the dissemination of false claims only perpetuates the cyber harassment she endured during her lifetime.
&ldquo;We are deeply heartbroken by Kim Sae-ron&rsquo;s passing, as she was once part of our agency. However, the spread of such false information is unacceptable and directly contributes to the same distress she faced," the statement continued.
The agency urged the public and fans to avoid amplifying baseless rumours and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting its artists from defamatory content.
