Comedian Kapil Sharma reacted to a fan&rsquo;s concern about no longer being able to watch his popular comedy show with family after its transition from television to an OTT platform.
The viewer shared on X, &ldquo;When The Kapil Sharma Show used to come on TV, every family had a fixed plan for Saturday and Sunday, and everyone could watch the show together. But ever since The Kapil Sharma Show started coming on OTT, we are no longer able to watch it together.&rdquo;
Replying directly, Sharma said, &ldquo;But now I think you can watch according to your schedule.&rdquo;
His comment drew mixed reactions, with several users noting that the joy of collectively watching the show at a fixed time is difficult to recreate on digital platforms.
Sharma&rsquo;s comedy journey began with Comedy Nights with Kapil, which aired on Colors from June 2013 to January 2016. 
After moving away from the channel due to creative differences, he launched The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV in April 2016. 
The show continued until July 2023 before shifting entirely to Netflix in 2024 under the new title The Great Indian Kapil Show.
The comedian is now gearing up for the release of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan. 
The film, featuring Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan, is slated for release on December 12.
