Global pop icon Enrique Iglesias made a sensational comeback to India after a 13-year hiatus, performing live at Mumbai&rsquo;s MMRDA Grounds on Thursday night. The much-anticipated concert drew over 25,000 ecstatic fans who sang and danced along to his greatest hits.
The highlight of the night came when the 50-year-old superstar caught a fan&rsquo;s phone mid-performance, clicked a quick selfie with a peace sign, and tossed it back into the crowd, sparking a fun wave of fans attempting the same. Though most phones missed the stage, Enrique&rsquo;s playful gesture left the audience thrilled.
The evening kicked off with an energetic set by the Progressive Brothers, followed by a soulful performance from Jonita Gandhi. Enrique then took over for a high-voltage 90-minute act that had the entire crowd swaying to chart-toppers like Hero, Bailando, and Escape.
This marks Enrique&rsquo;s third visit to India, and he&rsquo;s set to perform again at the same venue on Friday night, where an even bigger turnout is expected. Celebrities including Malaika Arora, Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh, Rubina Dilaik, and Anu Malik were among those spotted enjoying the show.
