Ranveer Singh&rsquo;s latest spy thriller Dhurandhar has shown remarkable momentum at the global box office, delivering a stellar opening weekend. The film gained strong audience support, recording its highest single-day earnings on Sunday with a major jump over both Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, Dhurandhar collected ₹43 crore net in India, marking its biggest day so far. With this, the film&rsquo;s domestic total has climbed to ₹103 crore net (₹123.50 crore gross), crossing the ₹100 crore milestone within three days. Positive word-of-mouth played a crucial role in boosting its weekend performance.
Internationally, the film earned an estimated $1.2 million on Sunday, taking its overseas total to $3.2 million gross. With consistent jumps across key markets, the film&rsquo;s global collection now stands at a massive ₹152 crore in just three days.
In only one weekend, Dhurandhar has outperformed the lifetime earnings of several big action titles, including Baaghi 3 (₹137 crore), Vikram Vedha (₹135 crore), and Jaat (₹110 crore). If the current trend continues, the film is expected to comfortably cross ₹250 crore in the coming days and potentially emerge as one of the year&rsquo;s biggest hits.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar draws inspiration from real events in Pakistan&rsquo;s Lyari and explores India&rsquo;s intelligence operations against terror networks. The film features a powerful ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan. The sequel is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026.
