Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna has reportedly exited the much-anticipated film Drishyam 3, marking another unexpected development in the industry following recent casting shake-ups. The reported exit comes just a day after news emerged that Ranveer Singh had stepped away from Farhan Akhtar&rsquo;s upcoming directorial Don 3.
According to industry reports, Akshaye Khanna has withdrawn from Drishyam 3, the sequel to the 2022 blockbuster Drishyam 2, citing financial and creative differences with the makers. Sources suggest that the actor sought a significant increase in his remuneration after the massive box office success of Dhurandhar, which recently crossed major revenue milestones.
In addition to monetary concerns, the actor reportedly requested notable changes to his character&rsquo;s look and presentation in Drishyam 3. These creative demands are said to have led to prolonged discussions during the pre-production stage. Negotiations eventually reached a stalemate, with neither side willing to alter their position, prompting Akshaye to step away from the project.
