Actor Akshay Kumar and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, were involved in a road accident in Mumbai&rsquo;s Juhu area on Monday evening, shortly after returning from an overseas trip. The incident took place while the couple was travelling from the airport to their residence, briefly causing panic among locals.
Preliminary details indicate that a speeding Mercedes hit an auto rickshaw, which then rammed into a vehicle from Akshay Kumar&rsquo;s security convoy. The security vehicle subsequently collided with the actor&rsquo;s SUV, triggering a chain accident near the Silver Beach caf&eacute; in Juhu.
Despite the impact, no casualties were reported. The auto rickshaw driver and a passenger were temporarily trapped after their vehicle was crushed under the security car. They were rescued within minutes. Witnesses said Akshay Kumar immediately stepped out of his vehicle along with his team to assist the injured until medical help arrived.
All individuals involved in the mishap were declared safe, with no serious injuries reported. The accident caused temporary traffic congestion as police and locals worked to clear the area and restore normal movement.
