Actor Ahaan Panday, who rose to instant fame with his blockbuster debut Saiyyara, is gearing up for an intense physical transformation for his next film with director Ali Abbas Zafar under Yash Raj Films (YRF).
The actor will soon begin a rigorous training routine totaling five hours daily as he prepares for an action-heavy role that demands significant strength and muscle gain.
A source close to the development said, &ldquo;Ahaan will start his training in boxing first and then move on to mixing martial arts and hardcore strength training to bulk up for screen. His training will be for about 5 hours every day. It will be intense but necessary as Ali wants to present him as a young boy who can take down people with sheer brute force.&rdquo;
The source added that YRF plans to maintain complete secrecy around his transformation. 
&ldquo;No one can even imagine Ahaan in this fierce avatar and YRF will keep things completely under wraps for people to feel the awe when they look at him in his new film visuals.&rdquo;
Ahaan, who celebrates his birthday next month, is expected to spend it in preparation as he begins action training for the project.
His debut film Saiyyara became a cultural moment and a massive box-office success, collecting ₹21.5 crore on its opening day in India. 
In comparison, Son of Sardaar 2, starring Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur, opened at ₹7.25 crore despite rescheduling its release to avoid clashing with the Saiyyara wave.
Industry analysts have compared the impact of Saiyyara to landmark debuts like Kaho Naa&hellip; Pyaar Hai for millennials and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak for Generation X.
