On India&rsquo;s 79th Independence Day, the makers of Border 2 revealed its first poster and confirmed the film&rsquo;s release date of January 22, 2026, perfectly timed ahead of the Republic Day weekend.
The poster showcases Sunny Deol in full military gear, gripping a bazooka with intense determination, embodying patriotism and raw emotion. The caption read: &ldquo;Hindustan ke liye ladenge&hellip; phir ek baar!&rdquo;
Directed by Anurag Singh, the film also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa.
Anurag Singh said announcing the date on Independence Day is symbolic: &ldquo;This day reminds us of the sacrifices of our soldiers, and our film pays tribute to their undying spirit.&rdquo;
Producer Bhushan Kumar called Border &ldquo;more than a film, it&rsquo;s an emotion&rdquo; and said the sequel will carry forward its legacy for a new generation. Nidhi Dutta promised the same heartfelt pride as the original, with a fresh story.
Backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and presented by Gulshan Kumar &amp; T-Series in association with J.P. Films, Border 2 promises to be a grand patriotic spectacle.
