<p data-start="92" data-end="381"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced that 941 electors in Bihar have submitted applications for addition or deletion of names from the draft electoral roll since the process began on August 1. However, in the first 48 hours, no political party submitted any claim or objection.</span></p>
<p data-start="383" data-end="576"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">From August 1 at 3 p.m. to August 3 at 3 p.m., political parties collectively filed zero applications for including eligible voters or removing ineligible ones, as per the ECI's daily bulletin.</span></p>
<p data-start="578" data-end="808"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">To support the ongoing voter list revision, special camps have been established at all Block-cum-Circle Offices and Urban Local Body Municipal Offices. These centers will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until September 1.</span></p>
<p data-start="810" data-end="1041"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">As part of a special campaign launched by the Bihar Chief Electoral Officer on August 1, a total of 4,374 young individuals set to turn 18 between July 1 and October 1 have submitted their forms along with the required declaration.</span></p>
<p data-start="1043" data-end="1185"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The ECI has also urged voters to submit updated photographs to their Booth Level Officers (BLOs) by September 1 to receive new voter ID cards.</span></p>
<p data-start="1187" data-end="1516"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">In an effort to ensure transparency, the ECI shared with political parties a list of electors whose names appeared in the June 24 roll but were absent from the August 1 draft. Additionally, over 1.60 lakh Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by district presidents of 12 political parties are involved in the process across Bihar.</span></p>
<p data-start="1518" data-end="1763" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The draft electoral rolls for all 90,712 polling booths covering 243 Assembly Constituencies were officially released on August 1.
