Late Friday night, the White Knight Corps reported that security forces established contact with terrorists near the Doda-Udhampur border in Jammu and Kashmir. 
During the encounter, an army soldier was injured and immediately taken to the Command Hospital in Udhampur for treatment.
The operation, conducted overnight in the Seoj Dhar area of Udhampur, is still ongoing. 
Army personnel are believed to have trapped two to three terrorists in the region.
&ldquo;In an intelligence-based operation in the Kishtwar general area, alert troops of the White Knight Corps established contact with terrorists around 8 pm on September 19. Exchange of fire took place, and operations are currently in progress,&rdquo; the Corps posted on X at 10:33 pm on Friday.
The joint operation involves the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir police, who continue to engage the terrorists while securing the area.
