British pop sensations Blue are all set to enthrall Indian fans this December as part of their 25th Anniversary World Tour. The iconic boy band, known for hits like All Rise, One Love, and Guilty, will perform in Shillong on December 11, Gangtok on December 13, and Bengaluru on December 14. The tour kicks off in Shillong, a city that almost hosted them in 2023 before the show was cancelled due to logistical challenges.
The Gangtok concert at Paljor Stadium will be historic marking Sikkim&rsquo;s first-ever international music event and coinciding with the state&rsquo;s 50th year of statehood. The band will also share the stage with K-pop group Everglow, making it a cross-cultural musical celebration combining pop and K-pop for fans in the Northeast.
Blue, formed in London in 2000 with members Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa, and Lee Ryan, has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and collaborated with legends like Elton John and Stevie Wonder. Their Indian leg will conclude with Blue Christmas in Bengaluru at Phoenix Marketcity, a city known for its thriving international music audience.
Speaking last year about India, Lee Ryan said, &ldquo;We&rsquo;ve always been a big fan of India. It is such an amazingly spiritual and lovely place. There are so many places I would love to see that I&rsquo;ve never really got the chance to. Coming to India is definitely on my bucket list, and I would actually like to take a bit more time to get to know the country better.&rdquo;
