વાસ્તવમાં, ભાજપ દેશભરમાં મોટા પાયે રાષ્ટ્રીય સભ્યપદ અભિયાન ચલાવી રહ્યું છે. પાર્ટીએ આ રાષ્ટ્રીય સભ્યપદ અભિયાનને 'સંગઠન પર્વ સભ્યપદ અભિયાન-2024' નામ આપ્યું છે. વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ 2 સપ્ટેમ્બરે નવી દિલ્હીથી આ અભિયાનની શરૂઆત કરી હતી. ભાજપે એ પણ નક્કી કર્યું હતું કે પાર્ટીના નેતાઓ સૌથી વરિષ્ઠ અને વૃદ્ધ નેતાઓના ઘરે જશે અને તેમને ફરીથી પાર્ટીના સભ્ય બનાવીને તેમનું સભ્યપદ રિન્યુ કરશે. આ અભિયાન હેઠળ ભાજપના રાષ્ટ્રીય અધ્યક્ષ જેપી નડ્ડા અડવાણીના નિવાસસ્થાને પહોંચ્યા અને તેમને ફરીથી પાર્ટીના સભ્ય બનાવ્યા.
આ પહેલા ગુરુવારે સવારે જ બીજેપીના રાષ્ટ્રીય મહાસચિવ રાધા મોહન દાસ અગ્રવાલે પાર્ટીના વરિષ્ઠ નેતા વિજય કુમાર મલ્હોત્રાના ઘરે જઈને તેમને ફરીથી પાર્ટીના સભ્ય બનાવ્યા હતા. આ પ્રસંગે પાર્ટીના દિલ્હીના લોકસભા સાંસદ યોગેન્દ્ર ચંદોલિયા પણ હાજર હતા. ભાજપની સદસ્યતા પુનઃ જોડ્યા બાદ વિજય કુમાર મલ્હોત્રાએ જનસંઘ અને ભાજપના જુના દિવસોને યાદ કરતા કહ્યું કે આ તેમના માટે સૌભાગ્યની વાત છે કે ભાજપે તેમને ફરીથી પાર્ટીના સભ્ય બનવાની તક આપી છે.
