Iran has officially reopened its entire airspace following the end of a 12-day conflict with Israel, the Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) confirmed on Saturday. All domestic and international flight operations have returned to pre-conflict schedules, including full 24-hour services at Tehran&rsquo;s Mehrabad International Airport.
The conflict began on June 13 when Israel launched a series of airstrikes targeting key Iranian nuclear and military sites, resulting in the deaths of senior officials, scientists, and civilians. In retaliation, Iran launched waves of missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory. The situation escalated further when U.S. forces bombed three Iranian nuclear facilities on June 22, prompting Iran to strike the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.&nbsp;After nearly two weeks of hostilities, a ceasefire was declared on June 24. Iran began gradually reopening its airspace on June 26. While all airports had resumed operations by July 17, Mehrabad Airport remained on limited hours until the latest announcement.
With the airspace fully reopened, the CAO has authorized all airlines and travel agencies to resume 24-hour flight services and ticketing. This marks a significant step toward stability in the region&rsquo;s aviation and travel sectors.
