In a high-level meeting held in New Delhi on Sunday, chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously adopted a resolution that praised the courage of the Indian armed forces and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The resolution, introduced by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, highlighted the impact of Operation Sindoor, stating that it had significantly strengthened the self-confidence of the Indian people.&nbsp;
It further acknowledged Prime Minister Modi&rsquo;s unwavering support for the armed forces and declared that Operation Sindoor had delivered a strong and appropriate response to both terrorists and those backing them.
Prime Minister Modi was present at the one-day conclave, alongside senior Union ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and BJP president JP Nadda.&nbsp;
The gathering brought together close to 19 chief ministers and an equal number of deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled states.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which convened the event, confirmed that discussions centred around caste-based data collection, the celebration of the Modi government's first anniversary in its third consecutive term, and key aspects of good governance.
A major portion of the conclave was dedicated to reviewing and sharing effective governance strategies employed by various NDA state governments. Several chief ministers delivered detailed presentations on flagship initiatives and schemes implemented in their respective states.
The meeting also observed a moment of tribute in remembrance of the individuals who lost their lives in the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam on April 22.
