Tesla, led by Elon Musk, has officially marked its entry into the national capital with the inauguration of its second showroom in India. Located in the upscale Worldmark 3 complex at Aerocity, the new outlet will serve customers in Delhi-NCR, a key region for India&rsquo;s electric mobility ambitions.
The company&rsquo;s India lineup currently features the Tesla Model Y in two configurations. The standard Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant, priced at ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), offers a 60 kWh battery with a WLTP-certified range of 500 km. The Long Range RWD, priced at ₹67.89 lakh, comes with a 75 kWh battery capable of up to 622 km per charge.
Deliveries for both variants are expected to start in Q3 2025, with priority given to customers in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurugram. Cars will be delivered via flat-bed trucks directly to buyers&rsquo; homes.
Tesla recently opened its first India showroom in Mumbai&rsquo;s Bandra Kurla Complex, with Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis inviting the automaker to explore R&amp;D and manufacturing opportunities in the state.
While the Full Self-Driving (FSD) package is listed for ₹6 lakh, its rollout in India will take place at a later stage. Tesla&rsquo;s Delhi showroom marks another step in expanding its footprint, with nationwide vehicle registration now available.
