The Central Jail in Shyalwas, Dausa, witnessed a moving celebration of patriotism as inmates and officials marked the 150th anniversary of the iconic song Vande Mataram.
Around 400 prisoners and staff members joined hands to form a massive human chain that beautifully spelled out the words &ldquo;Vande Mataram&rdquo; on the jail grounds a striking symbol of unity, devotion, and national pride.
The event began with the inmates waving the Tricolour and chanting patriotic slogans, filling the atmosphere with energy and emotion. Jail Superintendent Paras Jangid said the celebration was not just about paying tribute to the song but also about embracing the values of unity, integrity, and reformation.
&ldquo;True worship of Mother India lies in our deeds, not just in words,&rdquo; Jangid said, adding that such events help instil national pride and inspire inmates toward positive transformation and rehabilitation.
Special recognition was given to prisoners Sandeep Agarwal, Vikas Sharma, and Deendayal, who led efforts to organise the human chain formation.
The event concluded with the collective singing of Vande Mataram, as the prison courtyard echoed with patriotic chants turning the celebration into a heartfelt tribute to the song that continues to inspire generations of Indians.
Officers including Jailer Vikas Bagoria, Deputy Jailer Dilawar Khan, and Platoon Commander Manish Kumar were also present, joining the inmates in this memorable moment of unity and national spirit.
