Ranveer Singh&rsquo;s Dhurandhar continues its strong run at the global box office, registering a renewed surge in collections during its fourth week, aided by the Christmas holiday period. On its 23rd day in theatres, the film sustained impressive earnings both domestically and overseas, cementing its position among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
By Saturday evening, Dhurandhar had amassed ₹668 crore net in India, translating to a domestic gross of ₹801.50 crore. This achievement places the film as the fifth highest-grossing Indian film in the country, trailing only major pan-India blockbusters such as Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2, and RRR. Notably, no Hindi film has previously crossed the ₹650 crore net mark in India.
The film is now closing in on the ₹700 crore milestone domestically, while its overseas performance continues to accelerate. Internationally, Dhurandhar has been earning over $1 million per day and has crossed $26 million in overseas collections. Its worldwide gross currently stands at approximately ₹1,035 crore, with the makers claiming the figure has already exceeded ₹1,050 crore.
With this performance, Dhurandhar has overtaken the lifetime overseas earnings of several landmark Indian films, including Awara, Mera Naam Joker, My Name Is Khan, Dunki, and 3 Idiots. While it remains far behind the all-time overseas record held by Dangal, the film is steadily climbing the rankings and is expected to surpass films like Sholay, Bobby, and Kalki 2898 AD before concluding its theatrical run.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a spy thriller featuring Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian operative infiltrating criminal and terror networks in Karachi. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan in key roles. A sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is scheduled for release in March 2026.
