<div>Gandhinagar 27 June 2024: On the second day of the 21st Shala Praveshotsav, Chief Minister&nbsp; Bhupendra Patel enrolled children in schools in Chhota Udepur. At PM SHRI Taluka School No. 1 in Chhotaudepur, the Chief Minister distributed educational kits to Anganwadi, Balwatika, Class-I, Class-IX, and Class-XI students, encouraging them to begin their school journey. Shala Praveshotsav was initiated by then Chief Minister and Current Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enhance educational standards in Gujarat and promote girls' education</div>

<div>The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of Shala Praveshotsav in making education accessible to children from all sections of society, thereby boosting literacy rates in remote villages and families. Highlighting the state government's efforts, the Chief Minister mentioned infrastructural improvements in tribal areas, along with initiatives like Namo Lakshmi Yojana for girls and Namo Saraswati Yojana for science students. Various schemes for higher education have also been launched, establishing Gujarat as a leader in education through collaborative efforts between teachers, government, and parental support. Currently, the government provides smart classes, computer labs, and skill-based education facilitated by dedicated teachers, resulting in significant improvements in education quality and student attendance.</div>

<div>Calling for Viksit Gujarat through "Sauno Sath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishvas, Ane Sauno Prayas," to achieve the vision of a Viksit Bharat, the Chief Minister emphasized that education forms the cornerstone of Gujarat's progress towards national development. The Chief Minister urged teachers present to fulfill their responsibilities diligently, aiming to elevate the standard of education in government schools and ensure every child receives an education that fosters civility and knowledge. During his visit, the Chief Minister assessed students' reading, writing, and mathematical skills, as well as their overall academic proficiency. He inspected the school's infrastructure, including smart classrooms, and discussed educational quality with members of the school management committee. District Collector Shri Anil Dhameliya extended a warm welcome and provided an overview of Shala Praveshotsav, while the District Development Officer expressed gratitude. District Panchayat President Smt. Malkaben Patel delivered an address on the occasion.&nbsp;</div>

<div>In 2005-06, students enrolled in school by the then Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who have excelled in their careers and achieved special accomplishments in various fields, were honoured by the Chief Minister during the program. Shields were awarded to students securing the first rank in grades 3 to 8.&nbsp;</div>
<div>During the event, the Chief Minister visited the school's learning corner and participated in tree planting on the premises.</div>
