Indian cinema is anything but devoid of talented and gifted actors. One such legendary actor is Kamal Hassan. Apart from being an outstanding actor he has always been fairly successful when it came to being a director, producer, screenwriter and so much more. In all the years of his career, he has made everlasting bonds with many, one of them being another evergreen actor, the Badshah of Bollywood- Shah Rukh Khan.&nbsp;
Kamal Haasan candidly revealed at the trailer launch celebration of his forthcoming movie Hindustani 2 that his friend Shah Rukh Khan, did not charge him for directing Hey Ram (2000). Kamal Hassan very beautifully and subtly spoke about what a generous man Shah Rukh Khan is. He further went on to say that neither of them see each other as well established members of this industry but rather as friends which binds them together beyond all formality. He further went on to say that &ldquo;That&rsquo;s not something a superstar would do,&rdquo;&nbsp;

For those who do not know, Hey Ram, a 2000 film, had in its plot a number of controversial and rather disputed incidents from Indian history, particularly the demolition of the Babri Mosque in Ayodhya, the Partition of India, and the brutal murder of Mahatma Gandhi. In the film, Shah Rukh represented Amjad Ali Khan, a friend of Kamal Haasan's Saket Ram, whose death modifies an essential choice and reverses Ram's life. Tamil and Hindi adaptations of Hey Ram were created simultaneously.
