The first teaser for Dhurandhar 2, officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has been released, reviving fan excitement for the highly anticipated follow-up to the 2025 blockbuster. Ranveer Singh had teased a reveal at 12:12 pm on Tuesday, and the makers delivered the teaser on schedule, accompanied by a striking new poster showing Singh’s vengeful character drenched in rain and red light.
Dhurandhar 2 is set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026, with a worldwide release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, marking it as a major pan-Indian launch.
The teaser drops just weeks after the original Dhurandhar began streaming on Netflix and continued its record-breaking commercial journey, having grossed over ₹1,000 crore globally in theatres.
Early reactions on social media have been mixed, with some viewers expressing disappointment that the teaser recycles elements from the first film’s post-credit scenes rather than offering entirely new footage. Despite this, the buzz around the sequel remains strong.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar became one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of its time, drawing audiences with its intense geopolitical action narrative and ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun. Its digital release expanded its reach on OTT after a successful theatrical run.
With Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the franchise aims to deepen the story of Agent Hamza as he confronts new threats and embarks on fresh missions, all while retaining the high-octane action and layered character dynamics that defined the first film.
